The General Committee governs LECA and oversees the functions and activities of the four Subcommittees including Expert Subcommittee, Human Resources Subcommittee, Safety Subcommittee and Technical Subcommittee.

The 55th LECA Annual General Meeting was held on 20 March 2026. The office-bearers and subcommittees' chairmen were elected for 2026/2027.
